COVID-19 has caused a lot of unwanted change, but despite this fact, home remodeling is still going strong due to the safety steps and measures taken by general contractors:
- A lot of general contractors are avoiding tasks that don’t seem too important or are too time consuming (or both). Of course, each contractor will react differently to your request, but a good rule of thumb is to avoid being getting into a lengthy project, especially one that would have to be postponed if the temperature goes below a certain value.
- Most Denver remodeling contractors require masks as a mandatory precaution for their technicians at all time and to avoid straying away into another area of the house except the one where the work has to be done (in the case of interior projects).
- Interactions between homeowners and roofing technicians are kept at a minimum and homeowners are encouraged to wear masks during the time that the technicians are at the house, so that everyone can avoid becoming infected.
- Some contractors may even go so far as to schedule impromptu temperature checks and send workers home if they are experiencing any type of flu-like symptom.
